Lesson for the Week of 9/11/2016

“No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and like the other; or he will honor one and or he will honor one and despise the other.  You cannot serve God and mammon (wealth)”    Matthew 6:24

Serving two master is a challenge that faces many in our world today, as it has always been, only perhaps it may be a little bit exaggerated today. Perhaps this scripture has been misunderstood. Because certainly the creation of God, of which we are a diffident part, was not created in a limited supply.

Abundance was created for us “all we would have need of” in the beginning. Our ability as humans to accept and make ready our life for the abundance to flow freely may be what we are experiencing. All the Master’s of all time have told us that abundance is ours, it is at hand or it is here now. But we sometimes have not see it with our spiritual or physical eyes.

I’d like to share a story about a twig in the rushing stream during a rain storm.

As I stood in the shelter of my RV, watching the rain splashing on the dry ground right outside my door, I observed the streams, normally low level and slow running, rising and rushing under the down pour. The stream was filling with fallen branches of all sizes. And along came a little twig about 12 inches long.  Not much of an object compared to the logs that were fast forming a dam of fallen twigs and branches. The little twig bounced up against the pile forming the log jam in the rushing water. It bounced several times along the length of the jam until it found an end and freely rushing water. It easily bounced along the jam and joined the rushing water, bouncing its merry way down the stream and out of sight.

This week I’d like to challenge myself and all of you to be like that little twig and merrily find a way around each and every log jam that gets in the way of life. The twig didn’t fret or fuse or complain…it just bumped along until it found a clear flow in life. Be like the twig. Serve the one Master of Creation, we call God. Serve Him joyfully, and reap more joy, happiness and everything that is needed for a full day, each day. Be ready to accept it all like the little twig.

It is with deep Honor and Gratitude for this opportunity to share my thoughts and learn with you.

Let us share also the Light Bearers:

(Translated from the Ancient Mystery Schools of the Essene)

Men of the Earth, Brothers in Eternity, shake your souls Awake.

The hour so long waited for, the promised hour has come.

Over the dark firmament of suffering humanity is rising the morning star.

Heralding the day that you will understand that mans most sacred duty is to be man.

That is, to manifest life, intelligence, truth and love.

There is no higher aim, no vaster problem.

And you who realize this will break the fetters with which ignorance and fear

have bound unconscious humanity,

and will stand up free and know yourselves to be the eternal manifestation

of the un-manifest.

Witness of the absolute, sons of the great ALL

whom you call God.

August Extra

Happy August! Two quotes to think about & perhaps practice this month.
“Everyone was created as love, but whatever condition that love might currently be in is simply a reflection of each person’s wellness, his past choices, and his ability to deal with life. Often the inner power of love has been neglected, disbelieved, abused, or denied. A rose in the garden is still a rose, even if it is wilted and covered with mildew. The weary and troubled faces you see around you are the faces of those whose love is broken or denied.”

Love Without End, Chapter 4, p. 70

Love seeketh not itself to please,
Nor for itself hath any care,
But for another gives its ease,
And builds a Heaven in Hell’s despair.

Lesson for the Week of July 24, 2016

psalm-23-1-the-lord-is-my-shepherd-1

Live in Joy!

“But seek the kingdom of God, and all of these things shall be added to you” Luke 12:31

Do you ever have a day where one by one things seem to change direction in your life? Does life seem to be getting more complicated? And do you loose your Joy for that day? How do we get our life in order and find our Joy? When these changes seem to disrupt the Natural flow of life for us what can we do? People may say to you “Let go and Let God” and you may have ask, How do I do that?

This scripture is one of the many keys, but perhaps the most important step we can take toward a solution to finding all the joys of life. We are the only ones who can take that step. It may mean that we turn, ever so slightly, or it may mean a full turn in order to face the other direction, toward the Light. Perhaps we are simply standing facing a shadow, which is not the answer to anything. In this scripture Jesus was speaking of God’s unfailing Care and Guidance of His people; giving them the secret motives of Life. These words apply to us today. They are the words that never lose their Light. There are within these words warnings, cautions if you will about seeking the things of the world as our first focus. Heed the call to seek the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom is Truth, Light, Love in their pure and honest form.

We recommend the simple Statement of Being, ‘God is; I am.’ This statement, when spoken at a time of stress, of any sort, will lead you to the Kingdom. We also recommend consciously taking that sacred breath and wrapping yourself in the Statement and feeling of ‘Be Still and Know.’ These two statements, when honestly uttered from your heart space, will bring you, to the very center of your being, where peace, truth and joy of God are always. You will automatically turn the righteous way. Through that peace, truth and joy you will find the path that will lead you out of any confusion or disappointment or what ever life situation appears to be presenting itself. The’but’ in this formula? Maybe two or three.

The ones we shall mention are: Persistence, and Patients. Persistence because this maybe a new way of responding to stress or upsets, so remember for every new action or way of thinking requires persistence and practice is used, like learning a new math formula. Patience, we might say is the hardest because it applies to yourself and those around you. I love a quote from the Bhagavad Gita for Daily Living: Volume 1, verse 33 “Even a wise man acts within the limitations of his own nature.” Easwaran continues in his explanation: “We begin our journey toward the supreme goal of life from where we stand. All of us begin the spiritual ascent by accepting ourselves as we are. Just as it is good to be patient with others, it is equally necessary to be patient with ourselves….The Lord of Love (God) implies that we must accept ourselves with all our strengths and weaknesses. Without this kind of great patience with ourselves, the precipitous ascent to the summit of human awareness is fraught with great danger.” Wise warning indeed and it gives a beautiful picture of this entire process of dealing with anything upsetting or negative that may creep into our life dealings or demands on a daily basis. It is how we can deal within righteousness, using God’s Law of Love, to achieve ultimately life fully in Light, Joy, Peace and Love.

Spend this next month in contemplation, meditation, prayer in the silence, using you discernment gifts in all your learning and dealing with emotions, actions and life in general. We realize that next Sunday is the fifth Sunday of July but August officially starts for us next week. Please enjoy, learn and expand your consciousness & knowledge. We will be working to do the same so we can return in September with the Lessons with great enthusiasm and vigor.

Our Daily Vibrant Thoughts will continue to be available. And we are available for comments, questions, if you wish to contact us via this Cyber Church Site. Thank you for being here, you are important in our life.

As promised last week we offer the Chirothesian Healing Unit as a suggestion for you in its modern version:

Take a few moments each day, if you will, to tune your spiritual & physical body and listen to the stillness within. To do this we suggest taking a moment to relax every muscle in your physical body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. Breath that relaxation in and if you wish repeat the Chirothesian Prayer:

Lord Jesus, take each of us by the had and lead us each gently up the little Path,

Through the narrow Gate, through the Holy of Holies,

Into the Kingdom of God, where all Righteousness abounds.

Here we are each one with the Father.

And we thank, Thee Father, that Thou has heard us;

Thou hears us always.

And we thank Thee, Lord Jesus, for leading us into the Way of truth that frees, the peace

that passes all understanding, the Love that casts out fear, and

The Way of Eternal Life. Amen

Next, breath in Radiant Vital Dynamic Health; Harmony throughout your body. To do this take that thought of Harmony from a spot corresponding about level with your heart but on the spine; feel it spread from that point up the spine to your head, down each arm, torso and legs, to your fingers and toes.  Next breath Gratitude throughout your body for All things possible. (…LET God guide your path, which will naturally include all that is spiritual and all things needed physically and financially.) Let that feeling of Gratitude fill every cell of your body. Take time to really feel the small changes in your physical body. Be Still and Know: I and my Father God are one. God is; I am.

Use of your Divine Breath in all these steps for the Glory of God and your individual glory. We share these steps to help you in your journey and particularly during the month of August. May these steps be as much a blessing to you as they have been for many over the years and may you want to include it in your daily life.

It is with deep Gratitude for this opportunity to share my thoughts and learn with you the Chirothesian Way to Live in Joy.
